1. Establish and develop the Bank's fund administration function, includingbuilding the fund administration team and implementing the operating model andgovernance framework.

2. Review and oversee daily fund administration and fund accountingactivities, including the calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV), reconciliationof portfolio holdings, trade records and cash movements, and review of funddistributions and accounting entries such as management fee and custodian feeaccruals.

3. Oversee fund administration operations, including subscriptions,redemptions and switches, maintain investor register and account information,and review the processing of fund distributions and applicable tax withholding.

4. Prepare and review periodic fund reports and regulatory submissions, andensure timely filing with the relevant regulatory authorities.

5. Develop, review and enhance internal operating procedures in line withregulatory developments and industry best practices, and establish compliancemanuals and operating guidelines for fund administration and custody-relatedservices.

6. Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and developappropriate fund administration service solutions.

7. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Law or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or recognised fund industry certifications will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in fund administration, fund accounting, custody services or asset management operations is required. Candidates with at least 3 years of fund administration experience will be preferred.
  • Good understanding of fund regulations, accounting standards (e.g. IFRS), and custody and asset management operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and policy interpretation skills, with the ability to identify regulatory and operational risks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions. Knowledge of VBA will be an advantage.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in both English and Chinese, with the ability to draft internal documents, policies, procedures, and reports for submission to Head Office, as well as to collaborate effectively locally and with Head Office.
