The Opportunity
- Adecco is partnering our client, a famous tech MNC
- We are looking for a HR Program Manager
- The role will start out as a contract
- Candidates who are immediately available/ able to start work within short notice will be preferred
The Talent
- Proven track record managing multiple large-scale, cross-functional programs simultaneously, with strong project/program management discipline (planning, governance, risk, stakeholder management).
- Solid working knowledge of HR operations across the employee lifecycle, e.g. HR service delivery, onboarding, HRIS operations, payroll interfaces, and shared-services models.
- Experience establishing or running knowledge-management / process-documentation practices, SOPs, playbooks, runbooks, and the governance that keeps them current.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and external vendors across multiple markets and time zones.
- Strong structured problem-solving, analytical, and risk-management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to brief, influence, and align senior leadership.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and creating clarity where little exists.
- Plus Point - Experience with M&A, post-merger integration, or large-scale organisational change / transformation programs.
Job Description
- Program delivery & governance:
- Drive multiple concurrent People programs end-to-end, scoping, planning, milestones, dependencies, resourcing, budget, risk management, and delivery against agreed timelines and outcomes.
- Partner with the Head of People Operations and senior stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into structured program plans with clear owners, decision gates, and success measures.Establish and run program governance, steering forums, status reporting, executive updates, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and escalation paths.
- Proactively identify risks, blockers, and interdependencies across programs, and drive them to resolution before they affect delivery.
- Cross-functional & stakeholder leadership:
- Lead cross-functional coordination across People Operations, Centres of Excellence, People Business Partners, People Technology, Finance, Legal, and external vendors and partners.
- Manage stakeholder expectations across markets and time zones, keeping alignment tight as scope and priorities evolve.
- Own program communications and change management for impacted teams to ensure smooth adoption and minimal operational disruption.
- M&A, integration & transformation:
- Support M&A and post-merger integration workstreams on the People side, planning people-related integration, harmonising policies, processes, and systems, and managing transition timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Design and drive process-improvement and operating-model changes that increase the efficiency, quality, and scalability of people services.
- Knowledge management & operational excellence:
- Build and maintain a central knowledge base for the People Operations, process documentation, SOPs, runbooks, decision logs, and playbooks, so institutional knowledge is captured, current, and easy to find.
- Establish standards and governance for knowledge management: naming conventions, ownership, review cadences, versioning, and access controls, so documentation stays trustworthy and doesn't go stale.
- Capture lessons learned and reusable frameworks from each program, turning one-off problem-solving into repeatable playbooks that reduce ramp-up time and de-risk future initiatives.
- Drive knowledge transfer and enablement across the People Operations and partner teams, onboarding materials, self-service resources, and training, to reduce single points of failure and dependency on individuals.
- Partner with HR Technology to make knowledge discoverable within the tools the team already uses (e.g. HRIS, service-management, and collaboration platforms).
- Measurement & reporting:
- Track and report on program outcomes, cost efficiencies, service-level impact, and adoption to People and business leadership, using data to inform decisions and course-correct.
