Operations Manager

Main Purpose Of Role

This is a strategic role to oversee large scale multi-faceted logistics hub. We are looking for a dynamic leader to elevate the business strategically.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for cost management - P & L
• Develop creative solutions to both internal & external operational challenges
• Establish, maintain & develop strong relationship with clients
• Act as the clients’ “centre of gravity” on implementations & issue resolution
• Plan & execute regular client meetings to discuss process, issues, mitigations & introduce development opportunities
• Ensure on time infrastructure in place & SOP compliance in operations
• Introduce best practice sharing to ensure optimized operations are delivered under the highest service quality
• Ensure that client’s routine reports including monthly report & internal scorecard are prepared timely & accurately

• Relevant degree or an equivalent qualification
• At least 7-10 years of experience in logistics/warehouse environment
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office including MS Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong hands-on experience in data analysis
• Strong people management and team leadership capability
• Excellent interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
• Consistent ability to meet & adhere to deadlines
• Passion, initiative & result-oriented drive to continuously develop & work with creativity & innovation
• Solid operational background including supply chain operations – ocean, air & local origin services
• Experienced in project implementation is an advantage
• strong in comms skills, data compilations, power point presentations
