Position 2: Quantity Surveyor - Upto SGD 7,000 (Highly Negotiable)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading A1 Main Contractor delivering landmark Healthcare, Residential, Commercial and Mixed-Use developments across Singapore. Backed by a strong pipeline of newly awarded projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing commercial team offering long-term career progression and exposure to some of Singapore's most prestigious building developments.

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Contracts Manager in contract administration, variation works and post-tender commercial activities.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, tender submissions and contractual documentation.
• Manage project cost control, subcontract administration and final account settlement.
• Evaluate subcontractors' progress claims, variation works and payment applications.
• Measure, value and submit variation orders, progress claims and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on commercial and contractual matters.
• Monitor project cost performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.
• Support procurement activities and subcontract package management.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Team to resolve contractual and commercial issues.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience within the building construction industry. Experience with an A1 Main Contractor will be highly advantageous.
• Experience with a Main Contractor will be highly advantageous.
• Experience on residential, commercial, healthcare or mixed-use developments is preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness with good knowledge of contract administration and cost control.
• Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
