Manufacturing Technician

Location: 8 Upper Changi Road North

Working Hours

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Night Shift: 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM
• Noon Shift Allowance: $25 per shift
• Transport is provided for the Noon Shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Follow routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, and written or verbal instructions.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair work.
• Identify and correct assembly or testing errors.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and components.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure all required parts are available before starting work.
• Record work progress, labour details, and other relevant information using a computer system.
• Assist with basic computer programming, equipment repair, or software installation when required.
• Check and detail completed work to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Support troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and operating instructions.
• Use protective equipment and materials properly.
• Report accidents, injuries, hazards, or emergencies promptly to the supervisor or Safety Department.

Requirements

• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Training will be provided.
• Able to follow technical instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Basic electrical, mechanical, or technical knowledge would be an advantage.
• Willing to perform hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
