Job Description
- Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance technician, and 3rd party contractors in executing plant maintenance, shutdown, modification, and construction activities safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance of engineering practices and assets with statutory compliance, Engineering Codes of Practices and Company SOP’s.
- Ensure compliance with HSSE standards Monitor and take corrective action and daily updates.
- Prepare/updates service checklist.
- Monitor of critical spare parts availability to support and meet downtime of system.
- Update SAP upon job completion.
- Key member during turnaround/ shutdown event(s).
- Coordinate with Operations and cross-functional maintenance teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance works without disrupting plant operations.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical investigations on equipment failures, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Support emergency plant breakdown response and provide timely resolution to critical mechanical issues.
- Update and involved in Risk assessment.
- Involve in Scheduled Safety walkabout.
- Support audit and Safety Case when necessary.
- Knowledge in MOC process and act as a champion.
- Any other assignment as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years engineering /Maintenance field experience in the chemical, rubber, oil, or petrochemical plants. Able to work independently in multi-discipline and multi-lingual team.
- Hands-on Maintenance experience Static and Rotating equipment’s, troubleshoot, and rectify defects during plant Commissioning and Maintenance.
- Hands on experience and drive EPC and Maintenance team.
- Hands on experience in Maintenance team in Rotating Equipment Laser Alignment Skills, Vibration Monitoring.
- Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or manager.
- Willing to perform Call-out activities and extended work hours upon site start-up requirement.
- Skills in PTW and LOTO system
- Familiar in SAP system in PM Module.
- Knowledge in the use of linear measuring instruments
- Basic knowledge in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for generating reports.
- Knowledge in Total Flange Management work process.
