We are looking for a motivated Junior Marine HVAC Technician who is eager to build a long-term career in the marine industry. Fresh graduates with a strong technical background are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting and repairing marine HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment onboard vessels.
  • Assist with leak testing, nitrogen pressure testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and system commissioning.
  • Support servicing of compressors, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, pumps, and ventilation systems.
  • Assist in electrical troubleshooting of motors, contactors, relays, sensors, and control circuits.
  • Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
  • Maintain workshop tools, testing instruments, and equipment.
  • Follow company safety procedures and customer requirements.
  • Attend vessels at Singapore ports, anchorages, shipyards, and overseas when required.

Requirements

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in:
  • Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Marine Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of refrigeration principles and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Willing to learn and work in a marine environment.
  • Able to work overtime and respond to emergency vessel attendances when required.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working onboard ships and in shipyards.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a good team player.
  • Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident, or candidates eligible to work in Singapore are preferred.
