We are looking for enthusiastic, service-oriented and well-presented Waiters / Waitresses to join our front-of-house team and deliver an exceptional experience to every guest.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Waiter / Waitress, you will be one of the most important representatives of the ALORE brand.

You will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, maintaining table standards and ensuring that every guest receives friendly, attentive and professional service.

The ideal candidate should be energetic, confident, well-groomed and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Service

• Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival.

• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus where required.

• Explain menu items, ingredients, preparation methods and promotions.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

• Make recommendations based on guest preferences.

• Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.

• Check on guests regularly throughout their dining experience.

• Respond to guest requests and provide attentive service.

• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

• Thank guests and ensure a positive experience before their departure.

Food & Beverage Knowledge

• Develop strong knowledge of the ALORE menu.

• Understand key ingredients, preparation methods and potential allergens.

• Be familiar with the restaurant's drinks menu, including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.

• Keep up to date with new dishes, promotions and special events.

• Confidently recommend additional dishes, drinks and desserts where appropriate.

Sales & Upselling

• Actively contribute to restaurant sales through professional upselling.

• Recommend starters, sides, drinks, desserts and premium options.

• Promote special menus, events and promotional offers.

• Identify opportunities to increase guest spending while ensuring recommendations remain appropriate to the guest.

Table & Restaurant Standards

• Maintain clean, organised and properly set tables.

• Ensure tables are cleared promptly and reset efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations.

• Ensure menus, cutlery, glassware and service equipment are properly maintained.

• Assist with opening and closing duties.

• Maintain the presentation and ambience of the restaurant to ALORE standards.

Teamwork & Operations

• Work closely with the kitchen, bar and front-of-house team.

• Communicate guest requirements and special requests accurately to the kitchen and bar.

• Assist colleagues during busy service periods.

• Support supervisors and management with daily operational requirements.

• Maintain a positive and professional team environment.

Events & Entertainment

• Provide professional service during private events, parties, live music nights and other special events.

• Assist with high-volume service during peak periods.

• Adapt service style according to different events and guest requirements.

• Maintain service standards even during late-night and high-energy operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred.

• Fresh candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn may also be considered.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Friendly, confident and service-oriented personality.

• Well-groomed and professional appearance.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods.

• Good command of English.

• Additional language skills will be an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of food and beverages is preferred.

• Willingness to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

• Comfortable working during late-night events and entertainment periods.
