Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Prepare and cook Western and Oriental dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and kitchen team members during service.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Monitor kitchen inventory, stock levels and food wastage while supporting cost control.
• Assist with menu preparation, mise en place and smooth service operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant culinary experience, preferably in hotels, restaurants or fine-dining establishments.
• Strong hands-on experience in Western and/or Oriental cuisine, with good knowledge of cooking techniques and food presentation.
• Prior experience supervising or guiding junior kitchen staff is preferred.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, safety standards, kitchen operations and cost control.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, including shifts, weekends and public holidays.
