Note: Successful candidates need to be comfortable with working on weekends and shift as and when required

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and administer MongoDB databases in production environments.
Manage MongoDB replication, sharding, indexing, and performance optimization.
Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Perform backup, restore, disaster recovery, and database migration activities.
Administer MongoDB Atlas and on-premises MongoDB deployments.
Implement database security, user access controls, and auditing.
Support cloud-based MongoDB deployments on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Work closely with development teams on schema design and query optimization.
Create and maintain operational documentation and monitoring dashboards.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Skills

5+ years of MongoDB Administration experience.
Strong expertise in MongoDB Replication, Sharding, Aggregation Framework, and Indexing.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas, MongoDB Enterprise, or Community Edition.
Experience with backup and recovery tools (mongodump, mongorestore).
Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting database performance.
