Quality Engineer (Aerospace Industry)

  • Basic salary UP to $5,000 (based on experience) + Performance bonus

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality requirements.

  • Prepare process inspection plans and quality documentation.

  • Plan and manage calibration systems for gauges and measuring equipment.

  • Conduct internal and supplier QMS audits.

  • Deliver training on QMS requirements and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

  • Oversee First Article Inspection (FAI), Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection activities.

  • Lead Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA) investigations using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, 8D, and DOE.

  • Drive quality improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) across production processes.

  • Support cost reduction, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and 5S workplace improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Min 2 years of experience in precision manufacturing are highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.

  • Experience with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.

  • Familiarity with RRCA methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, 8D, DOE).

  • Experience conducting QMS audits.

  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
