Job Profile Summary

The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage financial operations for specific business lines, ensuring compliance with regulations, meeting department standards, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role involves leading a financial control team responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information for both consolidated reporting and local requirements, while maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and managing talent within the team. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the development and application of accounting policies, ensuring compliance with policies, and managing the team's budget and support for external audits.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key business units to ensure accurate financial reporting of internal and external agreements.

• Lead financial and regulatory reporting, analysis, and reconciliation to meet statutory and Divisional requirements.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory, GAAP and IFRS, and other company requirements.

• Manage internal and external audit functions to ensure compliance and validity of financial information.

• Drive the delivery of accurate financial analyses and implement process improvements for efficiency.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to align financial strategies with organisational objectives.

• Lead the implementation of new accounting guidance and policies for financial transactions.

• Contribute to the vision for consolidated financial reporting processes.

• Provide visible leadership, manage the team effectively, and ensure alignment with business strategy.
