Assistant Manager / Manager, Bank Finance – Tax

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review direct and indirect tax filings (Corporate Tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax).
• Ensure compliance with local and regional tax regulations.
• Support tax provisioning and tax reporting for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
• Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors and tax authorities.
• Assess the tax implications of new products, transactions and business initiatives.
• Support tax audits and respond to regulatory queries.
• Drive process improvements and enhance tax controls.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of tax experience, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Good knowledge of Singapore tax regulations; regional tax exposure is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• CPA, CA or relevant tax qualifications are preferred.
