The Role

  • Replenish merchandise to ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are available for customers
  • Ensure price labels, promotional signage, and shelf labels are accurate and up to date
  • Maintain store cleanliness, housekeeping, and safety standards
  • Execute planograms, merchandising displays, and promotional setups according to company guidelines
  • Conduct regular checks to identify and rectify out-of-stock item
  • Handle heavy inventory-related tasks, including receiving, unloading, moving, and organizing stock safely and efficiently
  • Ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO principles
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Ensure equipment and fixtures are in good working condition and report maintenance issues promptly
  • Support implementation of new operational initiatives and system rollouts
  • Assist with cashier support during peak trading periods
  • Maintain a welcoming and well-organised shopping environment
  • Support promotional events, store renovations, and new store openings when required
  • Assist in training new team members on operational processes
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as per assigned

About You

  • 2 years of retail experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle store operations, stock management, and merchandising
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Willingness to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays
