Assembly Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing process workflows for ultra-clean product assembly.
- Create conceptual and detailed engineering drawings, along with accompanying documentation for both prototype and production builds.
- Implement and oversee customer cleanliness requirements and cleanroom process specifications to maintain stable and repeatable production.
- Lead initiatives for process optimization, enhancing productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost in assembly procedures.
- Mentor team members to foster skill development and improve assembly processes.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering solutions and detailed manufacturing documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure effective product development.
- Conduct tolerance stack-up and GD&T analyses to validate product manufacturability in compliance with design specifications.
- Review and maintain all relevant engineering documentation and ensure adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
- Provide project documentation and administrative support for engineering and R&D tasks as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or product development within relevant manufacturing sectors.
- Hands-on experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs), routing, and engineering documentation management.
- Proven experience in new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing process development, and product validation.
- Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD software and engineering document control practices.
- Knowledge of contamination control and cleanroom manufacturing practices is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.
