Clinical Research Unit Pharmacist / Senior Pharmacist (Cleanroom)

Responsibilities

• Manage investigational and non-investigational products throughout clinical trials.

• Handle the receipt, storage, preparation, dispensing, labelling and reconciliation of study medications.

• Perform extemporaneous preparation, aseptic compounding and dispensing activities.

• Maintain accurate inventory, accountability and documentation of clinical trial products.

• Ensure appropriate storage conditions and environmental monitoring within pharmacy areas.

• Support the maintenance and proper use of pharmacy equipment.

• Act as the pharmacy point of contact for assigned clinical trials.

• Review clinical trial protocols and provide pharmacy-related input and feedback.

• Manage randomisation and unblinding procedures for applicable clinical trials.

• Ensure pharmacy activities comply with study protocols, SOPs and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain high standards of pharmacy practice and participant safety.

• Support the development and review of pharmacy procedures and work instructions.

• Support audits, inspections and follow-up activities when required.

• Provide training and guidance to new pharmacists, interns and other pharmacy personnel.

• Perform other cross-functional duties related to clinical research operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.

• Registered Pharmacist in Singapore, with experience in compounding, cleanroom or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.

• Knowledge of GCP, GMP and GDP is an advantage.

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and following required gowning procedures.
