LOGISTICS MANAGER

Job Summary

Plan, manage, and optimize daily logistics and transportation operations to ensure timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and compliance. Lead and develop the logistics team while collaborating cross-functionally to support seamless business operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee daily logistics and transportation operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations
• Manage warehouse operations by controlling inventory and maintaining stock accuracy for operational reliability
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Monitor transportation schedules to ensure compliance with delivery timelines and service standards
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customers to maintain effective communication and coordination
• Negotiate rates and service agreements with logistics vendors and transport providers to optimize costs and service quality
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations, workplace safety standards, and company policies to maintain legal and operational integrity
• Prepare logistics reports, analyze KPIs, and conduct operational performance reviews to support decision-making
• Lead, train, supervise, and motivate the logistics team to enhance productivity and team cohesion
• Resolve logistics issues, customer complaints, and shipment discrepancies promptly to maintain service quality
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, and Operations departments to ensure smooth and integrated business operations
