Broadcast Operations Executive (1 year Contract)

Responsibilities

As a Broadcast Operations Executive under media playout operations, you will provide radio operations support, and monitoring digital TV via IP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor TV and radio channels to ensure programmes, commercials and updates are aired correctly.
• Check broadcast signals, playlists, subtitles and on-screen text for accuracy before and during transmission.
• Insert radio traffic messages, headline updates and other scheduled content when required.
• Monitor Free-to-Air channels on meWATCH and report any broadcast issues promptly.
• Carry out basic recovery steps during broadcast disruptions and escalate issues when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any relevant field.
• Candidates without the required educational qualifications but with at least 2 years of working experience are welcome to apply.
• No prior broadcast experience required; training will be provided.
• Comfortable using computer systems and following checklists or standard procedures.
• Able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin, as the role supports Mandarin-language broadcast operations.
