Contract type: Full time

To provide optimal level of care in accordance to established policies and procedures.
To assist in activities and programs promoting healthy aging for clients.
Guide Healthcare Assistant on nursing related care to ensure optimal delivery of required care to the clients.

44 hrs per week, shift

Comply with approved Nursing SOPs
Work with multidisciplinary team to analyze and evaluate nursing care plan and ensure care plan is implemented by team.
Identify symptoms of clients related to illness or decline in functional/cognitive abilities and advocate early attention.
Mentor and guide HCAs in performing their functional duties
Assists the EN/RN in ensuring patients take their medications.
Assist client to manage common age-related conditions such as incontinence and loss of mobility.
Assist Enrolled Nurse/ Registered Nurse as when required.
Other additional operational duties as assigned by Centre Manager.

Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level
Attained Training in either WSQ Higher Certificate/Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care); or Institute of Technical (ITE) Approved Training Centre (ATC) Healthcare (Home Care) program.
Experience working in an elderly setting is an advantage
Compassion, critical thinking, and organizational skills
