Project Manager
OCTOMATE STAFFING PTE. LTD.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to take full end-to-end ownership of our upcoming developments. In this role, you will lead full-cycle project execution—from pre-construction planning, budgeting, and authority approvals to site mobilization, construction delivery, and final handover. The ideal candidate brings a versatile background capable of seamlessly managing both LTA (Land Transport Authority) infrastructure projects and high-end landed residential developments.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the complete project lifecycle, establishing project milestones, master schedules, and detailed resource plans to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Manage project budgeting, cash flow forecasting, cost control, subcontractor contract negotiations, and progress claim valuations.
Act as the primary corporate representative interfacing with clients, consultants, architects, and statutory authorities (MOM, BCA, URA, and notably LTA for civil/infrastructure works).
Direct site operations, coordinate with Site Supervisors and Project Engineers, and enforce strict adherence to quality workmanship standards and structural specifications.
Collaborate closely with the WSHO to ensure rigorous safety compliance, proactive risk mitigation, and adherence to safety management systems on-site.
Proactively resolve site conflicts, technical bottlenecks, and design clashes, managing variation orders efficiently with minimal project disruption.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 6–10 years of project management experience within the Singapore construction sector.
Domain Expertise
Proven track record managing LTA infrastructure/civil projects (familiarity with LTA submission procedures, strict work coordination, and safety/quality audits is a strong advantage).
Solid hands-on experience delivering landed residential projects (New Erection, A&A, or reconstruction), with an eye for premium finishes and meticulous client management.
Strong proficiency in reading architectural/structural drawings, structural sequencing, and local construction codes.
Excellent team leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities with a firm yet diplomatic approach to on-site problem solving.
