Overview

Join our APAC operations team as a Paralegal, where you will play a key role in supporting the legal and commercial operations of the business. You will be responsible for assisting with contract drafting, review, administration, and legal documentation, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts and confirmations

  • Provide contract advisory support to internal stakeholders

  • Liaise with brokers, middle office, finance, legal, and external counterparties to resolve contractual issues.

  • Identify contractual and legal risks and propose appropriate mitigations to protect the organisation’s interests.

  • Maintain accurate contract records and documentation.

  • Support internal reviews, audits, or management queries relating to contracts and agreements.

  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining standard contract templates to improve consistency and efficiency across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Paralegal or in a legal support role with significant exposure to commercial contract drafting, review, and administration. Experience within the financial services industry is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of contract law and financial regulations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and meet deadlines.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
