Demand and Supply Specialist

The Demand and Supply Specialist plays a crucial role in aligning customer demand with supply capabilities to ensure product availability while minimizing inventory costs. This position requires collaboration with various teams to optimize operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand variability, supply constraints, and capacity issues to enhance decision-making.

• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory optimization while boosting supply chain efficiency.

• Monitor forecast accuracy and suggest actions to enhance planning performance.

• Recognize seasonal demand patterns and emerging market trends impacting supply requirements.

• Execute the monthly S&OP process by preparing analyses on demand, supply, inventory, and capacity.

• Identify supply risks, capacity constraints, and inventory challenges, and propose mitigation strategies.

• Provide regular updates on key planning assumptions and operational performance metrics.

• Develop reports and dashboards for management to aid in operational and strategic decision-making.

• Foster continuous process improvements through analytical thinking and best practices in demand and supply planning.

Requirements

• Degree in Business or a related field.

• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and data analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to interpret large datasets.

• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

• Effective time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving business demands.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams while also being able to work independently.
