Job Summary

Join Grade Solution as an English teacher for Primary and Secondary levels, delivering focused lessons with personalized feedback in a supportive, tech-enabled environment at our Marine Parade physical centre.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons for both Primary and Secondary students aligned with the Singapore syllabus
• Mark students’ work and provide constructive, timely feedback to support learning progress
• Communicate clearly and effectively with students to foster understanding and confidence
• Maintain a firm yet nurturing classroom environment to encourage discipline and growth
• Appear in social media videos to promote the learning centre and engage with the community
• Collaborate with the team to utilize AI and EdTech tools that identify learning gaps and personalize instruction
• Manage teaching schedules to conduct 10 classes per week during designated working hours
• Demonstrate reliability and responsibility by consistently preparing lessons and meeting teaching commitments

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in English for Primary and Secondary levels
• Familiarity with the Singapore syllabus for English

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Ability to balance firmness with nurturing in student interactions to promote a positive learning atmosphere
• Effective communication skills to engage students and contribute to team initiatives

Other Information

• Location: Marine Parade (physical classes)
• Working Hours: Weekdays 1pm to 9pm; Weekends 8.30am to 4.30pm
• Salary Range: Full-time $4,500 - $6,000 with profit-sharing opportunities
• Benefits: Full-time staff receive 1 weekday and 1 weekend off per week
• Selection Process: Candidates complete a test via email, followed by a mock lesson and interview
