Job Summary

Join Grade Solution as a Science teacher or tutor for Primary and Secondary levels, delivering engaging lessons in a supportive environment with minimal admin, leveraging AI tools to enhance student learning and growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Science lessons for Primary and Secondary 1-2 students aligned with the Singapore syllabus to ensure student understanding and progress
• Mark students’ work and provide timely, constructive feedback to reinforce learning and address misconceptions
• Communicate effectively with students to nurture a firm yet supportive learning environment
• Participate in creating engaging social media videos to promote the learning centre and connect with the community
• Collaborate with the team to utilize AI-driven learning tools that identify learning gaps and personalize instruction
• Manage a teaching schedule of approximately 10 classes per week, balancing weekday and weekend sessions

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in Science for Primary and Secondary levels
• Familiarity with the Singapore syllabus for Science
• Dependable, reliable, and responsible work ethic
• Ability to maintain a firm but nurturing approach in teaching
• Effective communication skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience or interest in using Edtech, AI, or Machine Learning to enhance student learning
• Willingness to engage in personal growth opportunities such as webinar presentations, curriculum writing, and social media content creation

Other Information

• Location: Marine Parade (physical classes)
• Working Hours: Weekdays 1pm to 9pm; Weekends 8.30am to 4.30pm; Full-timers teach 10 classes per week
• Salary Range: Full-time $4,500 - $6,000 with 1 weekday and 1 weekend off
• Selection Process: Candidates complete a test via email, followed by a mock lesson and interview
