Supervise and lead a team of staff in the section in handling day-to-day financial matters, month-end and year-end accounts closing, including the preparation and/or review of the monthly, quarterly and year-end audit schedules and financial reporting packages
Responsible for the good quality of the balance sheet
Review internal charge and reclassification requests
Review bank reconciliation and resolve reconciling items
Review miscellaneous receipts and follow up on unaccounted sums
Investigate and resolve user’s queries
Responsible for GST and other statistical submissions
Liaise with internal and external auditors on audit matters
Liaise with tax agent on corporate tax and GST matters
Work with Grants and Intercompany GL teams to resolve issues
Lead and participate in process improvement projects
Ad-hoc assignments
