[2-3 Weekdays] Centre Operations & Student Care Support (Hougang)
STARCHAMPS EDUCATION CENTRE
Love working with children and want a role where no two days look the same? StarChamps Hougang is looking for a part-time Centre Operations & Student Care Executive to be the friendly face and steady hand behind our classroom operations — from welcoming new families through the door to keeping our daily programmes running smoothly.
This is more than an admin role. You'll be at the heart of our centre — building relationships with parents, supporting tutors, and helping shape the experience of every child who walks in.
What you'll be doing
- Be the first point of contact for walk-ins, calls, and email enquiries — and the warm, knowledgeable voice that turns interest into enrolment
- Guide prospective parents through our courses and consult with them on the best fit for their child
- Keep daily class operations running like clockwork — attendance, classroom assignments, and scheduling
- Own the full student enrolment journey, from registration to fee collection
- Supervise homework and spelling practice for our Primary 1–6 students
- Be the go-to liaison between tutors, parents, and students for timing changes and day-to-day matters
- Help capture the energy of our classes through photos and content for our marketing
- Take pride in a centre that's clean, welcoming, and well run
- Jump in wherever needed — every day brings something a little different
What we're looking for
- Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years in a customer service role — an advantage, not a dealbreaker
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (you'll be liaising with Mandarin-speaking parents on enrolment and fees)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and everyday tech
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and genuine warmth around children, parents, and teachers
- Available at least 2-3 weekdays weekly, 11am–7.15pm or 12.15pm–9.15pm
- Prior teaching experience a plus (1 year preferred)
- Able to start August 2026, 3-day training required
Why StarChamps
- CPF contribution
- A genuinely positive, supportive team culture with real work-life balance
- Full training provided — we invest in getting you set up to succeed
- Steps from Hougang MRT and major bus routes — easy commute, no excuses for being late
