Job Summary

Support project and service activities for Pneumatic Tube Systems (PTS) in healthcare or hospital settings, ensuring effective installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with stakeholders to minimize operational disruption.

Responsibilities

  • Support installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of Pneumatic Tube Systems in healthcare or hospital environments
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers for PTS projects
  • Coordinate site works with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, service engineers, and technicians to ensure smooth project execution
  • Review and interpret drawings, layouts, technical documents, and site requirements to guide project activities
  • Manage site coordination to minimize disruption to healthcare or hospital operations during project works
  • Support additions and alterations (A&A), system upgrades, equipment replacement, and project enhancement activities
  • Prepare detailed service reports, project updates, installation records, and handover documentation for management and customers
  • Assist in preparing quotations for service, repair, spare parts, or upgrade works to support sales and project needs
  • Follow up on project progress, resolve outstanding issues, ensure defect rectification, and address customer requests promptly
  • Support preventive maintenance activities for contractual customers to ensure system reliability
  • Provide regular updates to management on project and service status
  • Adapt to project demands by working overtime or Saturdays when required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Services, or related engineering discipline
  • Around 1–3 years of relevant engineering, project, or site coordination experience
  • Prior exposure to Pneumatic Tube System (PTS) or healthcare/hospital-related projects
  • Experience in medical gas, ACMV, MEP, building services, cleanroom, or laboratory projects is preferred
  • Experience in installation, servicing, maintenance, testing, and commissioning is advantageous
  • Ability to understand technical drawings, layout drawings, shop drawings, CAD drawings, or BIM coordination
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to effectively liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to follow up closely on project matters
  • Willingness to work overtime or on Saturdays when required due to project commitments
