He/she is the person responsible for accomplishing the stated project objectives. Key project management responsibilities include creating clear and attainable project objectives, building the project requirements, and managing the constraints of the project management triangle, which are cost, time, scope, and quality. He/she is the communication channel between the client and the project team, which consists of sub-contractors, direct workers, and suppliers.

  • Review & acceptance of contract / order from customer.
  • Coordinate review enquiry and contact / order for projects.
  • Initiate action to prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, and quality system.
  • Project planning and execution including resource management, control and co-ordination with contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure excellent customer relation & achieve customer satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Monitor & ensure progress of works are carried out according to specification, quality plan & safety standard.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Engineers/Coordinators to carry out the projects.
  • Plan and co-ordinate on the project progress and schedule and ensure timely completion according to client’s requirement.
  • Brief the site staff and vendors on the environment, health, and safety policy (client and / or company), relevant procedures and other requirements of integrated management system (IMS)
  • Disseminate relevant information on the identified actual / potential significant environment, health and safety hazards and the relevant operational controls to the site staff.
  • Disseminate information relating to changes in the relevant environment, health and safety legislation and regulations to the site staff and management representative(s) of IMS.
  • Ensure that the design has taken into appropriate consideration on mitigating any significant environment, health, and safety hazards and consequences associated with its installation, operation, maintenance, and shutdown.
  • Ensure that appropriate emergency response plan (procedure) is in-place for the identified potential accident / emergency (where applicable)
  • Where required, carry out the appropriate monitoring and measurement to track activities and operations.
  • Ensure that appropriate corrective / preventive action is taken against the detected non-conforming activities / services at the site and, implement appropriate measures to mitigate any significant environment, health and safety hazards and consequences associated with the nonconformity.
  • Participate at the management review to evaluate the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of the established integrated management system, including the necessary changes to the established environment, health and safety policy, objectives, and targets in the light of results of the audit and commitment to continual improvement.
  • Other scope of works to be assigned by the senior management.
