Student Care Teacher

Job Summary

Support the daily operations of the student care centre to ensure the smooth running of programmes and activities. Able to teach P1-P5 academic subjects as needed and to foster a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily centre operations to ensure smooth and effective functioning
• Manage student and parent administrative matters, including addressing behaviour concerns promptly and constructively
• Guide and support staff by assigning duties and fostering teamwork to enhance service delivery
• Plan and supervise student activities such as field trips, group work, and daily tasks to promote engagement and learning
• Teach P1-P5 academic subjects when required, delivering lessons aligned with the primary school syllabus
• Maintain consistent attendance and reliability to support centre stability and student welfare

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in student care, childcare, education, or related fields
• Familiarity with the primary school syllabus to support academic teaching and activities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC applications for administrative tasks
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn to adapt and grow within the role
• Relevant certification or diploma in education, student care, or child-related fields (minimum O-Level qualification)
• Strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate effectively with staff, students, and parents
• Patience, responsibility, and ability to work well with children and staff to maintain a supportive environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and enhance centre operations
