H2G Green Limited is setting up an M&E arm and is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Sanitary, plumbing, and gas Services) to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This position is based in the Kaki Bukit East Region and represents a strategic opportunity to contribute to our construction projects, specializing in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) estimating and surveying.

As Quantity Surveyor (M&E Services), you will play a crucial role in the delivery and cost management of our M&E works across various construction projects. This role is essential to ensuring accurate cost estimation, budget control, and the successful completion of projects within agreed financial parameters. You will be instrumental in supporting our project teams and contributing to the profitability and reputation of H2G Green Limited.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing detailed quantity surveys and bill of quantities (BoQ) for mechanical and electrical construction projects

  • Conducting cost estimation and budgeting for M&E works, including labor, materials and plant hire

  • Analyzing project specifications, drawings and tender documents to determine accurate quantities and costs

  • Liaising with M&E contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders to gather pricing information and clarifications

  • Preparing tender documents and supporting the tender process for M&E packages

  • Monitoring project costs and preparing variation orders and change order documentation as required

  • Maintaining accurate records of costs, measurements and project documentation

  • Providing cost reports and financial analysis to support project management decisions

  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers and other surveyors to ensure alignment of cost and scheduling objectives

  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing value engineering recommendations for M&E systems

What we're looking for

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related discipline

  • Professional membership with an accredited body (such as RICS, BQS or equivalent) or working towards such membership

  • Minimum 3-5 years' professional experience in quantity surveying, with demonstrated expertise in M&E estimating and cost management

  • Strong knowledge of building services, mechanical systems, electrical installations and their associated costs

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting M&E drawings, specifications and technical documents

  • Experience with quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail

  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and cost control methodologies

  • Familiarity with Singapore construction standards and building codes is highly advantageous
