M&E Drafter

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and revise technical and shop drawings for architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical works.

• Interpret design specifications, sketches, and calculations into accurate CAD drawings.

• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure drawings are aligned with project requirements.

• Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.

• Support the submission of drawings for authority approvals and client reviews.

• Maintain and organize drawing documentation for easy retrieval and version control.

• Assist in resolving drawing-related issues during construction and ensure as-built drawings are properly updated.

• Ensure drafting deliverables meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree certificate in Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Civil/Structural, or related field.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.

• 2–3 years of relevant drafting experience, preferably in construction or M&E projects.

• Good knowledge of M&E systems, construction drawings, and detailing.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
