Role Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the Group’s end-to-end operations across its Global AI Cloud Ecosystem, comprising the Global MaaS (Model-as-a-Service) and Global Cloud Services divisions. Ensure the effective integration of technology, commercial execution, and operations across a rapidly scaling AI and cloud business.
Based in Singapore, this role will lead the integration of technology, commercial execution, and regional operations to ensure the scalable delivery of AI technologies and cloud solutions to enterprise clients across Singapore and the region.
The COO will play a critical role in strengthening Singapore’s position as the Group’s global headquarters and operational hub, while driving local employment, capability development, and ecosystem collaboration in line with Singapore’s digital economy objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Company Operations & Execution Leadership
- Hold overall operational accountability for the Global AI Cloud Ecosystem (GAIC), ensuring alignment across technology, commercial, and delivery functions
- Translate Board-level strategy into executable operating plans across multiple entities and regions
- Drive operational scalability to support continued growth in enterprise AI and cloud adoption
AI MaaS & Cloud Platform Commercialization
- Oversee the operationalization and commercialization of the Group’s proprietary AI Unified Scheduling and Token Resource Monitoring & Optimization Agent Platform. Drive measurable client outcomes, including cost optimization, system reliability, and operational efficiency
- Oversee the integration of leading global AI models and cloud infrastructure into a unified, production-ready platform
- Ensure effective deployment of AI MaaS and cloud solutions across industries including gaming, fintech, e-commerce, and manufacturing
Multi-Cloud Ecosystem & Partner Management
- Lead strategic engagement with global cloud providers and AI model partners, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud and Anthropic
- Oversee partner lifecycle management, including enablement, performance tracking, and joint go-to-market initiatives
- Ensure the Group maintains and strengthens certified partner status across key ecosystems
Commercial Operations & Revenue Growth
- Drive enterprise adoption of AI large language model and revenue growth across Singapore and regional markets through structured sales, partner, and go-to-market strategies
- Oversee business development teams and ensure disciplined pipeline management, deal execution, and customer success. Align product capabilities with market demand to support sustainable, long-term growth
- Contribute to revenue growth through technology-led innovation and service delivery
Cost Governance & Resource Optimization
- Oversee global procurement department, establish operational frameworks for cloud and AI resource vendor management
- Ensure transparent cost allocation, performance tracking, and reporting mechanisms to support both internal management and external stakeholders
- Build on existing track record of delivering measurable cost savings and efficiency improvements for enterprise clients
Organization & Talent Development
- Oversee cross-functional teams including MaaS Platform R&D, AI Talent Development, Recruitment, and Marketing
- Scale the Company’s AI Talent Development function to support both company-wide internal adoption of AI tools and external training initiatives
- Drive local hiring and capability development in Singapore as the Group expands
Corporate Governance & Board Engagement
- Report directly to the Board of Directors on operational performance, growth initiatives, and resource planning
- Support corporate initiatives including IPO preparation, internal controls, and potential investment or acquisition activities
- Ensure all operational processes are aligned with corporate governance and regulatory requirements
Ecosystem & Institutional Collaboration
- Engage with Singapore’s public agencies and ecosystem partners (e.g. IMDA, EDB, AI Singapore)
- Support initiatives that contribute to local enterprise digital transformation and AI adoption
- Represent the Group in relevant industry and ecosystem engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; advanced qualifications preferred
- At least 10 years of relevant experience across cloud infrastructure, AI, or technology-enabled business operations
- Proven leadership experience in managing multi-function teams, including commercial, technical, and operational units
- Demonstrated partnership experience with hyperscalers, AI model providers (Anthropic and emerging open-weight model providers) or large-scale technology ecosystems is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of AI and cloud business models, including MaaS, IaaS, SaaS and multi-cloud environments
- Experience operating across multiple markets, preferably Southeast Asia and Greater China
- Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, operational efficiency, or technology platform innovation
- Experience supporting senior management or Board-level reporting in a regional or multi-entity organization
- Relevant cloud computing industry certifications (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, Tencent Cloud and Alibaba Cloud) are a plus
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency strongly preferred to support regional collaboration
