AMACHA is a modern tea brand inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), reimagining herbal wellness for today's generation. Since opening our first store, we have been expanding rapidly across Singapore, with more locations and exciting growth plans ahead.
As we scale, we are looking for an experienced HR & People Manager to build the people, culture and systems that will support our next phase of growth.
This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with the Founder and leadership team. Beyond managing day-to-day HR operations, you will help shape our organisation, improve processes, embrace AI, and develop a workplace where people can thrive.

Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition
Lead end-to-end recruitment for retail stores and headquarters.
Build sustainable hiring pipelines and improve recruitment strategies.
Develop employer branding initiatives to attract quality talent.
Partner with department heads to forecast manpower requirements.
Improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
Employee Experience & Culture
Design and continuously improve employee onboarding programmes.
Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and retention.
Organise staff appreciation events and company activities.
Champion AMACHA's culture and values across the organisation.
Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing workplace.
Performance & People Development
Manage probation reviews and annual performance review processes.
Coach managers on performance management and employee development.
Support disciplinary matters and conflict resolution professionally.
Identify training and development opportunities for employees.
Build leadership capabilities within the organisation.
HR Operations
Oversee payroll administration and ensure timely, accurate salary processing.
Prepare and review employment contracts, letters and HR documentation.
Maintain employee records and HR systems.
Ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations and company policies.
Review and improve HR processes, policies and standard operating procedures.
AI & Process Improvement
We believe AI will become an important part of how modern organisations operate.
You will play a key role in identifying opportunities to improve productivity through technology and automation.
Responsibilities include:
Implement AI tools to improve HR productivity.
Improve recruitment, onboarding and HR workflows using technology.
Build and maintain an internal knowledge base for employees.
Reduce repetitive administrative work through automation.
Continuously improve HR systems and operational efficiency.
No prior AI experience is required. We value curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to learn.
Strategic Partnership
Partner closely with the Founder and leadership team on organisational planning.
Recommend improvements to organisational structure and manpower planning.
Support business expansion through scalable HR practices.
Contribute to building a high-performance and people-first organisation.
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably within retail, hospitality or F&B industries.
Experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations.
Experience in payroll administration and HR operations.
Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing business.
Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently.
Experience supporting multi-outlet retail or F&B operations.
Experience implementing HRIS or payroll systems.
Experience using AI tools to improve business productivity.
Experience creating HR policies, SOPs and employee handbooks.
Passion for building company culture in a growing organisation.
