We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. You will play a vital role in supporting daily kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting chefs with food prep and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ingredient Prep & Setup: Wash, cut, peel, and marinate ingredients; prepare sauces and set up daily mise en place.
  • Cooking & Service Support: Assist with simple cooking tasks (e.g., frying, sides, salads) and assist chefs during peak service hours.
  • Cleaning & Sanitation: Maintain clean work stations, equipment, and floors; dispose of kitchen waste and assist with washing tools.
  • Stock & Inventory: Receive, store, label, and date ingredients in chillers/storerooms; report low stock or spoiled items.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow kitchen leadership instructions and maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen or food prep experience preferred.
