Investment Analyst (Start up, deep tech industry, up to $10k) (ID: 708067)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research and identify potential investment opportunities by analysing technology and innovation trends.
• Build and expand networks within the local and global innovation ecosystems to enhance proprietary deal flows.
• Perform due diligence on investment targets by assessing their commercial viability, risk-reward scenarios, and strategic and financial considerations.
• Structure investment deals and negotiate terms in collaboration with legal and corporate finance teams.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee.
• Oversee portfolio management by evaluating corporate actions and implementing strategies to enhance enterprise value, collaborating with various teams for business development initiatives.
• Support senior management in shaping overall corporate strategy and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Science or Engineering, preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant investment experience or at least 8 years in research or roles within deep tech sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to present complex technical concepts to senior leadership.
• Proven team player with exceptional multitasking abilities and capacity to work autonomously in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Demonstrated experience in fast-paced, ambiguous settings, showcasing comfort with high agency.
• Genuine curiosity about advancements in software and artificial intelligence technologies.
• Technical expertise in software development and familiarity with artificial intelligence technology stacks.
• Experience in transitioning technology from prototype to product stages while maintaining a user-focused perspective.
