RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the availability of the browsing services of the EVS PAM system to support CNA, Chinese, Malay and Tamil News, Current Affairs and Digital News
• Exploring methods of ingestion with media of different/ever-changing formats with multiple transcoding process via file or baseband
• Coordinate streaming lines of the EVS IPD via VSM
• Quality control of all ingested rushes, microwave feeds to ensure that they meet quality standards with no errors for both video and audio
• Housekeeping to maintain sufficient storage on EVS for News and on AVID for Current Affairs to ensure a seamless workflow
• Quality assessments of Current Affairs' weeklies/documentaries and transcoding them from Avid production system into central library Dalet system with IBS generated placeholders
• Supporting 938 Radio News production with crossing of live interviews between the CNA and Radio studios
• Setting up equipment for overseas bureaus loading Adobe software and user rights for Mac Books
• Censorship of sensitive materials and keep track of usage rights issues and expiry dates of the wired sources to avoid monetary penalties
• Management of local news and documentary rushes with metadata tagging for the availability of material for National Archive
• Ensuring CA programs archives meets international requirements in audio tracks placement to secure a smooth sale of programs for Content Distribution and Sales
• Asset management with detailed metadata for ease of research by journalists or producers
• Overseas bureaus coordination on media transfer and archiving

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma preferably in a Mass Media Communication or related field
• Strong understanding of the Digital landscape and innovation trends
• Proven experience in media management, technical oversight, and people management
• Understanding of cloud-based content management
• Prepared to work irregular shift hours and weekends/public holidays
