Event Crew — Servers, Banquet Staff & Bartenders (Part-Time)

Raja's Catering and Alangkaar Pte Ltd serve Indian weddings, corporate functions and large banquets across Singapore every week. We are hiring PART-TIME Event Crew — Servers, Banquet Staff and Bartenders — on a continuous monthly basis. Mature and senior jobseekers are welcome; we hire for attitude and reliability, not age.

We have three types of crew roles. Tell us in your application which one you are applying for, or say "any" if you are happy to be rostered flexibly.

1. SERVER / BANQUET WAITING CREW - Set up tables, chairs, linen, cutlery and crockery according to the floor plan - Serve food and beverages to seated guests; refill water and drinks - Clear used plates and glasses discreetly; maintain a clean service area - Look after guests politely; direct them to buffet lines, washrooms and seating

2. BUFFET & FOOD LINE CREW - Set up buffet counters, chafing dishes, serving utensils and food labels - Replenish food from the back-of-house so the line never runs empty - Serve portions to guests at the counter and keep the counter clean and presentable - Follow food safety and hygiene rules at all times (we will train you)

3. BARTENDER / BEVERAGE CREW - Set up the beverage counter, ice, glassware, garnishes and dispensers - Prepare and serve soft drinks, mocktails, juices, tea and coffee - Prepare and serve alcoholic drinks where the event licence allows it - Keep stock topped up and the bar area clean throughout the event

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Presentable, polite and comfortable talking to guests - Able to stand and move for the length of a shift, and to carry trays and stack chairs - Punctual — event start times are fixed and cannot be moved - Willing to follow instructions from the event supervisor - No prior experience required. On-the-job training and briefing are given before every event. Experience in F&B service, hotels, banquets, catering or retail is an advantage - Able to work weekends and evenings (that is when most events happen) - Basic conversational English; Tamil, Malay, Mandarin or Hindi is a bonus but not required

HOURS & PAY - Hourly rate: S$10 to S$15 per hour depending on experience and role - Two commitment options — tell us which suits you: (a) Casual: about 15 hours per week, mostly Saturday and Sunday events — roughly S$850 per month (b) Regular: about 25 to 38 hours per week including weekday functions and preparation — roughly S$1,650 per month - Shifts are confirmed in advance so you can plan your week - Meals are provided on duty; uniform is provided - CPF contributions, paid public holiday and leave entitlements apply in accordance with the Employment Act and CPF Act for eligible employees

WHERE - Reporting point: 15 Woodlands Loop, Singapore 738322 (near Admiralty MRT) - Event venues across Singapore — hotels, ballrooms, community clubs, function halls. Company transport is provided from the reporting point to the venue
