Corporate Sales & Outreach Caller (Part-Time, Senior-Friendly)

Raja's Catering and Alangkaar Pte Ltd are looking for PART-TIME Corporate Sales & Outreach Callers to help us fill our weekday catering calendar. Mature and senior jobseekers are strongly encouraged to apply — this role rewards patience, good phone manner and life experience far more than it rewards speed.

Our weekends are busy with weddings. Our weekdays have spare kitchen capacity. Your job is to fill it — by reaching out to offices, schools, clinics, condominiums, temples, community clubs and event organisers and getting them to try our catering.

WHAT YOU WILL DO - Call and email companies and organisations from a list we provide, and from lists you help us build - Introduce our daily meal catering, buffet packages and event catering; find out what they currently do about food - Qualify the lead: how many people, how often, what budget, who decides - Send follow-up emails with our menu and pricing (templates are provided) - Arrange food tastings and pass warm leads to the sales manager to close - Follow up with past customers who have not ordered recently - Keep the call log and lead tracker updated so nothing falls through the cracks

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Clear, confident and courteous on the phone — you are comfortable calling a stranger - Able to take a "no" and move on to the next call without losing energy - Basic computer skills: email, and typing notes into a simple spreadsheet or tracker (we will train you on our system) - Organised — you follow up when you said you would - No formal qualification required. Previous experience in sales, telemarketing, customer service, insurance, real estate, receptionist or admin work is an advantage but not required - Fluent English. Mandarin, Malay or Tamil is a bonus because many of our customers prefer it, though not required - Retirees, homemakers returning to work and career-switchers are all welcome. Full training and scripts are provided

HOURS & PAY - Hourly rate: S$10 to S$15 per hour depending on experience - Two commitment options — tell us which suits you: (a) Casual: about 15 hours per week, weekday office hours — roughly S$850 per month (b) Regular: about 25 to 38 hours per week — roughly S$1,650 per month - Mostly weekday daytime hours (office hours are when decision-makers pick up the phone) — this is one of the few roles here that does NOT require weekend work - Performance incentive on top of the hourly rate for every confirmed booking that comes from your leads - CPF contributions, paid public holiday and leave entitlements apply in accordance with the Employment Act and CPF Act for eligible employees

WHERE - Office: 15 Woodlands Loop, Singapore 738322 (near Admiralty MRT), seated and air-conditioned - Partial work-from-home may be arranged once you are settled in
