Position Overview
The Infocomm & Media CCA Instructor is responsible for planning and delivering an engaging Infocomm & Media Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) programme that develops students' digital literacy, coding, computational thinking, creativity, and leadership skills. The instructor will inspire students through hands-on learning, digital projects, and emerging technologies while supporting the school's CCA objectives.
Key Responsibilities
CCA Programme Planning & Delivery
Plan and deliver a comprehensive 30-week Infocomm & Media CCA programme for primary school students.
Entry Group (Primary 3–Primary 4)
Advanced Group (Primary 5–Primary 6)
Conduct engaging, hands-on lessons that promote creativity, innovation, and digital skills.
Ensure lessons are aligned with the school's learning objectives and CCA outcomes.
Coding & Digital Technology Training
Teach coding and computational thinking using age-appropriate platforms such as:
Scratch
Microsoft MakeCode
MIT App Inventor
Delightex
Python (or equivalent)
Introduce students to design thinking, problem-solving, and digital innovation.
Guide students in creating interactive applications, animations, games, and digital solutions.
Digital Media & Creative Learning
Teach digital media concepts including:
Photography
Videography
Multimedia content creation
Digital storytelling
Basic image and video editing
Encourage creativity through project-based learning and collaborative activities.
Student Development
Monitor students' learning progress and provide constructive feedback.
Identify and nurture students with aptitude in Infocomm and Media.
Prepare students for school showcases, competitions, exhibitions, and enrichment activities.
Support students' character development, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
Collaboration & Administration
Work closely with the Teacher-in-Charge to ensure smooth implementation of the CCA programme.
Recommend improvements to lesson delivery and programme effectiveness.
Maintain attendance, student progress records, and lesson documentation.
Ensure a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
Requirements
Qualifications
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree, or Professional Certification in:
Infocomm Technology
Information Technology
Computer Science
Digital Media
Media Technology
Multimedia
Interactive Media
Or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience (since 2023) coaching or conducting Infocomm & Media CCA programmes for primary or secondary school students.
Experience teaching coding, computational thinking, or digital media in an educational environment.
Experience preparing students for competitions or digital showcases is an advantage.

Proficient in one or more of the following:

Digital media creation tools
Photography and videography
Multimedia editing software

Good classroom and student behaviour management.
