Duty Manager

Job Overview

• Our client is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure smooth event execution, and maintain high service standards.
• You will lead shift operations, coordinate manpower, manage customer and stakeholder relationships, resolve operational issues, and take charge during incidents or emergencies.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and shift manpower deployment.
• Ensure service quality and operational excellence.
• Handle customer feedback, escalations, and incident management.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and event organisers.
• Conduct shift briefings, inspections, and operational reporting.
• Coach frontline staff and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Experience managing operations in a relatively large and fast-paced environment, handling cross-functional coordination, customer escalations, and operational incidents.
• Experience leading operational teams; event operations experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and overnight shifts.
