Therapy Assistant - OT

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in preparing patients for therapeutic equipment and activities.

• Support the execution of therapeutic exercises by supervising and aiding patients.

• Aid in the creation of orthotic devices and garments for rehabilitation.

• Organise and manage patient records, ensuring accurate filing and retrieval.

• Maintain cleanliness in therapy spaces and assist with related duties.

• Facilitate the transportation of patients to and from therapy sessions as needed.

• Handle inquiries, answer phone calls, and relay messages efficiently.

• Assist in maintaining an inventory list of necessary equipment and supplies.

• Conduct inventory checks to ensure availability of resources.

• Manage basic administrative tasks, including photocopying and filing documents.

• Perform data entry and retrieval using relevant software applications.

• Maintain therapeutic equipment and ensure proper functionality.

• Oversee and support the cleaning responsibilities of healthcare attendants.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level qualification.

• Service-oriented with a strong focus on customer care.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.

• Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Word and Excel.
