Building Construction Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee daily site operations and ensure construction works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and work schedules. The successful candidate will coordinate site activities, supervise workers and sub-contractors, and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities.
• Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Monitor site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved within the planned timeline.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, company safety policies, and statutory regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, Clients, and relevant authorities on site matters.
• Identify and resolve site issues and construction-related challenges promptly.
• Plan and monitor manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment required for daily site operations.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and other project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate project activities with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Equivalent qualification in Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and construction practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise multiple subcontractors and manage site activities effectively.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Possess relevant construction safety certifications required for site supervision.
