Job Summary

Responsible for identifying and selecting products that meet customer needs and market trends. The role involves researching new products, working with suppliers, analyzing sales performance, and developing a product assortment that drives business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate new products based on market trends and customer demand.
• Identify emerging trends and recommend new product opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate product offerings.
• Develop and manage the product assortment for assigned categories.
• Monitor product performance and recommend additions or discontinuations.
• Conduct competitor and market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Work closely with marketing and operations teams to support product launches and promotions.
• Ensure product information and pricing are accurate.

Requirements

• Candidates with experience in merchandise planning, retail operations, inventory management and e-commerce is preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and interest in consumer trends.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable analyzing sales data.
