CARPENTER

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to cut, fabricate, assemble, install, repair, and maintain wooden and other structural components according to project specifications. The successful candidate will work on construction and renovation projects while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Take accurate measurements and calculate the quantity of materials required.
• Cut, shape, smooth, and assemble timber, plywood, fiberglass, and other construction materials.
• Construct and install window frames, doors, partitions, staircases, roofing, flooring, ceilings, and other wooden structures.
• Build and install cabinets, furniture, shelves, and custom wood fixtures.
• Repair, renovate, and maintain existing wooden structures and fittings.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Build and dismantle scaffolding and other temporary construction structures when required.
• Operate electrical and manual carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all workplace safety regulations.
• Perform any other carpentry-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction or renovation projects.
• Hands-on experience working with various carpentry materials and tools.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, installation methods, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment such as power saws, drills, hammers, and measuring tools.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in demanding environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willing to follow all workplace health and safety regulations.
• Must be willing to work at different project locations as assigned.
