Why this role?
Sales and Operations Planning Specialist will assist and supports S&OP Team Lead to implement and maintaining S&OP process and activities. The responsibilities are including strategic planning, data analysis, preparation of information for Delivery Operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute business processes.
What will you be doing?
Manage S&OP activities
Assist and support S&OP Team Lead, for example with analysis of product mix trends, forecast accuracy root causes to identify forecast improvements, and lead time trends against assumptions used for the forecasts and commonly agreed One Set of Numbers.
Perform planning activities including updating MLO and support S&OP Team Lead with Demand Meetings in regions/countries of a Front Line
Collaborate with CSE and Logistics to ensure delivery accuracy
Order Book Management
Analyze Order Book especially on lead time trends against assumptions used for the forecasts.
Collaborate with Construction Managers, Site Supervisors and Project Managers (who are responsible to reflect the schedule of their own projects accurately in SAP S-Plan throughout the project life time) to ensure overall order book quality
Resolves any planning related master data inaccuracies or issues (such as ensuring generally realistic MS2 to MS5 durations in standard networks).
Key Driver for Project Portfolio & Cost review
Lead monthly project portfolio and cost review meetings to monitor project performance, milestones, and financial health
Ensure accurate project milestone tracking through site progress updates from Project Managers
Review and validate cost performance, including forecast adjustments based on Construction Manager inputs
Monitor payment milestones in collaboration with the Contracts team to ensure timely collection of downpayments prior to order fabrication and fulfillment of contractual payment terms before project handover
Identify and track project risks and opportunities to ensure accuracy of cost forecasts in 3Cs and TECW
Facilitate decision-making by providing insights into cost trends, risks, and project progress
Forecast cost management, SAP support and other ad-hoc tasks
Are you the one?
3–5 years of relevant working experience. Finance background would be an added advantage.
Strong planning and analytical skills
Proven ability in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis/comparison
SAP knowledge and exposure to Power BI are added advantages
Confident and articulate communicator
Open to candidates from any industry. Experience in the construction industry would be an added advantage.
