Senior Project Engineer / Construction Manager

(Ground Improvement – PVD)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer / Construction Manager with strong expertise in Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) installation and ground improvement works to lead and coordinate multiple project sites.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on geotechnical construction experience who enjoys managing site operations, leading project teams, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Salary: SGD 4,500 – SGD 6,500 (commensurate with experience)

Working Hours: Monday – Saturday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Work Location: Based on project site allocation (Singapore)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise PVD (Prefabricated Vertical Drain) installation and ground improvement works from planning through project completion.

• Manage and coordinate multiple small-scale PVD and ground improvement projects concurrently.

• Plan and oversee daily site operations, including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities.

• Monitor project progress, productivity, installation quality, and resolve technical or site-related issues.

• Review construction drawings, method statements, site records, and project documentation.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and workers to achieve project objectives.

• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and relevant regulations.

• Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.

Requirements

• Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering.

• 2–3 years of experience in PVD installation and ground improvement projects.

• Experience in infrastructure or geotechnical construction projects.

• Hands-on experience in site supervision, project coordination, and construction management.

• Experience in one or more of the following is highly preferred:

  • Deep Cement Mixing (DCM)

  • Piling

  • Diaphragm Wall

  • Land Reclamation

  • Foundation Engineering

• Able to manage multiple small-scale projects simultaneously.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
