Job DescriptionWhat this job involves

As a Multi-Skilled Facilities Technician at JLL, you'll be the technical backbone ensuring seamless building operations and optimal tenant comfort. This hands-on role places you at the heart of our facility's critical systems, where you'll oversee daily operations, coordinate third-party vendors, and maintain the reliability of essential building infrastructure. Your technical expertise and proactive approach will directly contribute to JLL's commitment to operational excellence and exceptional client service in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.

What your day-to-day will look like

Complete and sign off daily facility checklists, ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and meet performance standards

Supervise and coordinate third-party vendor activities, ensuring all periodic preventive maintenance is completed and properly documented

Monitor electrical and mechanical equipment supporting critical facility operations, performing basic troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions when malfunctions occur

Respond promptly to helpdesk tickets, following through to resolution and maintaining accurate closure records

Collaborate with the Manager and data center personnel to schedule equipment downtime for preventive maintenance with minimal operational disruption

Process permits to work (PTW) and air-conditioning extension requests with landlord, maintaining compliance with facility protocols

Maintain comprehensive service reports in both physical and digital formats, ensuring accurate database records

Report any conditions affecting building services or tenant comfort to the Assistant Manager, following proper escalation procedures

Qualifications

Education - Minimum of a high school education, 2 years in trades or equivalent

ACMV and electrical engineering background will be preferred.

Job Experience - 1+ years of experience in data centre engineering and maintenance service will be preferred

Experience in vendor supervision

Ability to communicate in both oral and written reports

Exposure to ACMV, mechanical, electrical and fire systems will be preferred

Proficient in basic computer applications and software such as MS Office

Ability to work in 12hour shift for 7/24 support
