Assistant Nurse Clinician

Join a dynamic team as a Nursing Supervisor, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient care through leadership, clinical supervision, and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and coaching to nursing staff in delivering safe, quality, and evidence-based patient care.

• Support the triaging of referrals and engage in case discussions for timely and appropriate care planning.

• Attend departmental and multidisciplinary meetings; assist with operational and administrative tasks.

• Oversee and manage clinical escalations from team nurses, offering guidance and support as necessary.

• Monitor nursing practices, workload distribution, and resource utilization; recommend enhancements to improve service delivery.

• Assist in the development, review, and implementation of community nursing guidelines, clinical protocols, and standard operating procedures.

• Identify staff performance management needs, facilitate competency development, and encourage continuous professional growth.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and projects aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes and patient safety.

• Execute any additional duties as assigned by the supervising officer.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 7 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute hospital and/or community care environment.

• Completion of at least two years of continuous service in the relevant field.

• Possession of an Advanced Diploma in Nursing (any discipline).

• Demonstrated strong performance record, with no active performance improvement plans or disciplinary issues.

• Proven leadership potential with effective clinical judgement and strong interpersonal skills.
