EHS Specialist (Workplace Safety & Compliance) #HDC

We are looking for an EHS Specialist who is passionate about workplace safety and environmental compliance, and is keen to contribute to a strong safety culture while supporting business excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management system.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct EHS training sessions and promote workplace safety awareness across departments.
• Coordinate safety, health, environmental, and fire safety committee meetings.
• Perform workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain EHS documentation, legal registers, and regulatory records.
• Keep updated on industry regulations and best practices to support ongoing compliance.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive a proactive safety culture.
• Support additional EHS initiatives and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• Valid WSH Level C certification recognised by MOM is required.
• Relevant experience in Environmental, Health & Safety is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Singapore workplace safety and environmental regulations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification techniques.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
