Manufacturing Supervisor (Plastic Precision)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiency are consistently achieved. You will lead a production team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure production schedules are met.

• Monitor productivity, quality, yield, and machine utilisation to achieve operational targets.

• Allocate manpower and oversee daily work assignments effectively.

• Ensure production output meets customer delivery schedules.

• Monitor production performance and prepare daily and weekly production reports.

• Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimise product non-conformance.

• Coordinate with Warehouse and other internal departments to ensure smooth material flow and inventory availability.

• Lead, coach, and develop production staff to enhance performance and operational capabilities.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, workplace safety, and EHS policies.

• Promote a clean, organised, and safe production environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to work on rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.

• Working Schedule: 4-day work week (12-hour rotating day & night shifts)
